About Me
I’m Titasa Ray, a Counselling Psychologist with a Master’s in Applied Psychology. In my sessions, I believe in creating a collaborative space through which individuals can feel empowered to recognise their own potential which can further help them to work on their own strengths and weaknesses. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, which means I tailor my techniques to support the unique experience and needs of every client. The foundation of my work is rooted in empathy and growth and hence, my work upholds client centered approach. I have been working with diverse individuals for the last 6+ months with the age group of 15-50 by employing a diverse range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques. “We repeat what we don’t repair” and hence, I try to make my clients trust themselves to work on their goals and concerns. My area of work includes - • stress and anxiety management • life transitions • communication, social skills and interpersonal relationships • self doubt and emotional regulation • Work life balance • Dysfunctional family dynamics • Gender and sexuality concerns • Resilience building • Trauma and grief therapy to name a few. In my collaborative therapeutic space, I practice techniques of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Humanism-existenisalim. I believe and incorporate the lens of Trauma Informed Care, Queer Affirmative and Neurodiversity Affirmative approach in my work. Languages : English, Hindi and Bengali.
