I loved how the 2 day session covered everything from the history of art therapy to actual, practical activities for different age groups. It was super interesting to see how specific exercises are tailored for everyone, like the "Worry Balloons" and "Stress Monsters" for kids, Zentangles for teens, and things like Inner Child work, Mask Making, and Relationship Mapping for adults and trauma recovery. Learning about all the different mediums you can use, from clay to digital journaling and even natural materials, really showed how flexible art can be as an outlet for emotional release.
