Hello everyone, Vanya Chadha this side. I'm a Counselling Psychologist by profession, and certified in anxiety counselling. And, I work towards helping individuals, groups or communities deal effectively with their issues, and in turn enhance their well-being. So, the fact that I empathise more with people, I'm able to understand their perspective even more. Being a counselling psychologist, I feel that it is my moral duty to be there for people as a good listener, and empower them emotionally. Further, my process of therapy is always client-centered. This is because, as a counselling psychologist my aim is to provide an unconditional positive regard to the client, and create a safe space for the client by relying on a minimum of techniques, and instead staying tuned into a client's moment-by-moment experience. Moreover, this means that the client stays in the moment, and I ensure that the client drives the session, and my role is to just act as a facilitator for the client to achieve their goals, and enhance their mental health and well-being.
